::Bush All For Offshore Drilling::

Spoken like the true idiot he is, our so called President encouraged Congress to approve offshore drilling.

With Democrats in Congress opposed to drilling, Bush said their opposition is “outdated and counterproductive” and that it “helped drive gas prices to their current level.” Saying that $4-a-gallon gas prices should be “enough incentive” for Democrats to act, Bush asked, “How high do gas prices have to rise before the Democratic Congress will do something about it?”

It is this same Republican thinking that has turned our world into what it is.
It is this same Republican thinking that is killing hundreds of men and women in a war we should not be fighting.
It is this same Republican thinking that is going to destroy our society.

Democrats are doing something about the gas prices, finding vehicles that dont rely on gas.
To me this seems like a more logical concept.

What is Bush going to do when the offshore drilling runs dry.
Oh thats right he wont be in office, therefore its not his problem.
Worst of all; uneducated American’s have encourage this way of thinking and are just as responsible for our current economical situation as our so called President Bush.

We as a country have known for years that oil is not a renewable resource, therefore we should have been looking at other options way before prices reached $5 a gallon.

Hybrid and electric cars are the answer to this problem.
This problem will not subside because drilling began somewhere new. Furthermore has anyone thought that it is very possible the price of gas will remain the same even with offshore drilling. Putting huge oil machines in the middle of the ocean cannot be cheap, they cannot be cheap to staff either. How is offshore drilling a permeant answer to our permeant problem?

And please dont get me started on the damage offshore drilling will do to the wild life.
Its common sense that if we should not litter plastic in the ocean we probably should not be pumping oil through it either.

As if offshore drilling was not a dumb enough idea, Bush has also proposed drilling in the Alaska National Forest.

All so called President Bush is saying is the environment does not matter, mother nature does not matter as long as humans can drive around comfortably in gas gosling machines.

I beg of the younger generations to stop and think of the impact all these choices will have on our environment.

There are better answers out there, they are just a little harder to come by and too complicated for so call President Bush to comprehend.
