I went to Verizon on Wilshire and 26th this morning because my pink curve broke yet again.
I decided to check out the new blackberry storm I have been hearing so much about.
The storm is suppose to be Verizon’s competition with the iphone.
For the price, $200 after a $50 mail in rebate, so you are actually laying out $250 plus tax, you do get a lot. They include an sd card with this blackberry, the allure of a touch screen does grab your attention and they have actually priced this bb lower than any other previous bbs. But dont be fooled my friends!
I found the storm to be pretty lame.
The internet connection was incredibly slow.
The response time from when you touch the screen until something actually happens feels like forever.
When you go to compose a text, you have to hit the number key for the number to be displayed for every digit! Most bb go into number mode and have numbers displayed on the key pad. Not this one folks.
The worst feature of the this phone is that the screen actually compresses when you press it. LAME!
You know all the advertisements about a “click”? Yeah well its the lame ass screen clicking every time you touch it. Which means you can never turn it off. A really dumb feature.
I find it amazing that at 10 am this Verizon was already sold out. Moreover I am disappointed bc Verizon was suppose to get the bold until someone came up with the lame idea of the storm came out!
So dumb.
After having two bb, the world and the curve, I have feel in love with them. Where would the world be without bb?!
