I think it may just be me but there just is not a lot of holiday cheer this year.
I dont know if it is all the sunshine we have had recently, the fact this year has flown by, or if its just me missing my family. Whatever it is, I am not in the holiday mood.
I dont even want to think about Thanksgiving.
All I want to do is curl up with my chichi, watch some movie and sip on starbucks.
I find the whole premise behind Thanksgiving a little nauseating.
I feel like this holiday is just and excuse to get out of school or off work, which would not be all that bad if there was something to do with your day.
I just feel if people really loved their families they would not need a holiday once a year to spend time together.
Further more Thanksgiving allows Americans to over eat without guilt.
If we as a country were truly thankful, we would not need a holiday full of food to remind us.
