Here is southern California we have been yearning a change from that 80 degree weather. This rain is a very welcomed forecast.
This storm has been causing a little holiday stress.
The area of Yorba Linda which was burned last month has mandatory evacuations.
There is snow fall in parts of So-Cal that snow does not normally fall, causing an increase accidents.
All this along with flash flood warnings through out the So-Cal region.
However, other parts of the country people are enduring far worse side effects of this storm.
On the east coast almost 400,000 people are still without any power.
Ranging from New York to New Hampshire.
That’s down from 800,000 Sunday evening and more than a million at the height of the storm.
In Stoddard, New Hampshire, National Guard troops were going door to door to check on residents.
I cannot even image how scary that must be to not have any power, and no end in site.
