I just found out that one of my uncles will probably pass away tonight.
He has been sick for almost a year now and just recently was diagnosed with cancer.
Two weeks ago my family was told he had two months to live.
I have not been close to my extend family for years, since I was a child.
However finding out anyone you know is suffering and will not make it until morning is an emotional experience. It forces me to realize just how short and fragile life is.
I have lost many people in my life, but it never gets easier.

I’m sorry to hear that. I lost my Dad when I was fourteen and plenty of relatives/friends since. One thing is for sure: life is precious. Times like these, while sad, remind us to make the most of every day. I hope your Uncle is in peace and without pain. Take care.

I’m going through the same thing tonight – except it’s my Grandfather – they just took him off of the machine that was assisting his breathing. They don’t think he’ll make it until morning.
