It is an extremely sad day for me when Americans can openly and pridefully express hatred for an another over sexual orientation. No one is asking anyone to be gay or really even to support the gay community, just simply requesting that everyone is given the opportunity to live peacefully.
Future generations will look back on this day with the same disgust that our generation feels about separate schools for blacks and whites, the Holocaust, and slavery.

Perhaps, these individuals should take some time to read a book instead of spreading hate; then their tweets could be taken seriously. A few tips: there is a difference between “your” and “you’re”. Also, spell and out, because “n” is a letter not a word. If you need to abbreviate the word “and” use an ampersand (&) it’s the same number of characters for your ignorant tweet.

I believe instead of exiling the gay community we should exile the ignorant, for they are the ones that truly effect the rest of the country.
