::Celbs Spotted::

I was reminded today of why I LOVE living on the west side. I see and talk to so many celebrities. Most of the time I actually have intelligent conversations with them. My luck might have something to do with my inability to actually recognize celebrities. I just see them as regular everyday people, until the introduce themselves. I never go places to see if I can spot a celb and I have never been “star struck.”
I refuse to name the actual locations of my run ins because I believe celbs are entitled to a little privacy too. Therefore if I happen to see them, which is quite often. I just blog about it in order to inform the rest of the world not all celbs go out in black SUVs surrounded by five body guards.
Today I spoke with Adam Sandler and his daughter! It was so cute to watch him interact with her and be out in public having a normal father-daughter day.

Next I saw Tim Daly, I noticed him staring at me. Not bragging, he was only checking out my boobs.

It is refreshing to see celbs walking around in their sweat suits too!
After spending day in and day with people who believe money is everything, it makes me smile to see people with money doing everyday things.

Entertainment Weekly has one man reporting his opinion of the best and worst of 2008, however his sheltered views are making it hard to keep my $5 starbucks coffee down.

Here is his review;

How in the name of Lil Wayne did anyone possibly think the world needed a whiny mall-rat rock cover of his hypnotic summer hit? Granted, rock guys covering urban jams is a trick that some times works (see: Will Oldham’s delirious, faithful takes on R. Kelly favor ites), but just as often cheapens and disre spects the original (see: Dynamite Hack’s egre gious slacker-brah version of N.W.A’s ”Boyz-N-The Hood”). Framing Hanley? Not worth the Claire’s boutique lip rings they rode in on.

My comment on EW site,

I think this is a biased and completely untrue observation.
However it one mans opinion and obviously based on Framing Hanley myspace plays not everyone agrees. Furthermore look at the comments of fans protesting against this one mans sheltered opinion.
Maybe in he got his head out Lil Wayne’s ass he would be able to see that great music comes in all genres.

Honestly, Entertainment Weekly is a glorified blog space for those who have no better calling in life than to criticize other people.
I personally enjoyed both versions of the song and still listen to both. It is a matter of person music preference and to diminish a bands talent purely based upon one’s personal music choice is not journalism, its more like lack of experience in the real world.
It is obvious to anyone with the internet and half a brain that not all of the world hated Framing Hanley’s version of Lollipop. Their MySpace player has almost 9 million hits alone.
Seriously this site rated The Dark Knight and only the thrid best movie of the year.
I believe to be a good or even mediocre journalist one must take into account the facts about what one is reporting. Entertainment Weekly is saying these rankings are based upon viewer/listener opinions as well as staff opinion and yet have provided no proof.
The other thing to remember if there actually was a viewer/listener poll, most people that listen to rock are not caught up in Entertainment Weekly, therefore would not know to participate in the polls.

I get annoyed when idiots are put in position of power and are able to reach people in mass quantities and yet have nothing better than their opinion as support.

The Olympic Super Star was already making almost $5 Million a year in endorsements from VISA, Hilton, AT&T, and lets not forget Speedo, just to name a few.
However the swimming wonder’s most recent endorsement has come to light.
What you might ask, PureSport.

Before he earned his eight gold medals and became a global celebrity at the Beijing Olympics, Mr. Phelps and three teammates agreed to endorse PureSport, a protein mix made by a tiny Austin, Texas, company that didn’t exist three years ago.

Its rumored that Joaquin Phoenix was seen at a memorial for Paul Newman last week 3 sheets to the wind.
If you have followed Joaquin’s career you are well aware that thi is not his first brush with drugs and alcohol.
Back in 2005 Joaquin had very public stay in rehab.

A rep for Phoenix denies he has a problem with alcohol or drugs at this point in time.

After watching a few seasons of Six Feet Under I began to wonder if Michael C. Hall was actually gay.
I mean he does convincing job of playing a very gay funeral director.

However, he is just that amazing of an actor.
Michael C. Hall is a straight man!

I did some research and found this interview from 2004, way before we knew this handsome man as Dexter.

In person, Hall conveys much of David’s wariness. The 33-year-old North Carolina native is polite, reserved, good-looking, well-bred. He focused on New York theater before being cast on Six Feet Under, which is why most of us know him only as the buttoned-down character he plays. And why we might be surprised to learn that Hall played 500 Broadway performances in lipstick, leather, and rouge as the Emcee in Cabaret. Show director Sam Mendes (who would later be known for directing the film American Beauty) hired Hall in 1999 for the musical revival to replace Alan Cumming, who created the role and set the flamboyance bar exceedingly high. Hall learned the show and in three weeks was leading it. “It was fantastic!” he remembers. “I had the time of my life.”

John Mayer never struck me as the type to get a full sleeve but it looks good!

While walking my little chihuahuas through my neighborhood I saw Marcia Cross!
As we passed by she complimented my little chihuahuas saying how cute they are.

I love seeing Celebes that arent surrounded by body guards and acting too good for the world.

Every season it seems American Idol has yet another scandalous headline.It started with Corey Clark’s claim to have had an affair with Paula. Next came Frenchie showing her boobies on the internet. This past season a reject went on to take intising pictures for money.We thought the big one this season was Amanda Overmyer second DUI charge.However the producers of American Idol are just not that lucky.The scandal is David Hernandez likes to get naked and dance for boys!It seems before the hopeful made to the top 24 he paid the bills other ways.The producers of American Idol dont seem to be all that concerned about the ordeal.Stating, â€œWe’ve had strippers on the show beforeâ€¦We’re never judgmental about people who do things like that,” Idol executive producer Ken Warwick tells TV Guide. ” If it were some sort of heavy porn, then maybe we’d have to take action. But certainly not on this.”We shall see if the hopeful even makes past this week.

I am anxious to see the drama that unfolds in the following Idol weeks
